Ocean County NJ Real Estate Market Update 04/27/2017

The main discussion of NJ Real Estate, especially in Ocean County is… There is currently low inventory of homes.  What does that mean for you?

  • If you are a seller who currently has a home on the market, you are probably seeing a good deal of interest, showings and activity.
  • If you are a buyer who has been looking, you’ll notice that your home search may not be yielding you much to choose from.  Even worse, it could be yielding you nothing at all.
  • If you are about to start searching for a home, you’ll find a decreased selection to choose from.  What I highly recommend is finding a real estate professional who is going to be actively looking and sending listings to you and is available for showings when a home comes on the market that has grabbed your attention.  Unfortunately, we are seeing homes that are priced right and are desirable go under contract within a very short amount of time.  Find yourself a full time agent who is willing to provide you with personalized service.
  • If you are considering listing your home, this may be the time to list.  According to Zillow research, a Saturday in May is the best time to list!  Read the article below for more details!
